My name is Sam and I am 24 years old. I have played guitar for 10 years on both acoustic and electric guitar. I am very versatile and can teach many different styles of music including but not limited to: blue's, classical, alternative rock, folk, classic rock, etc... I adjust my curriculum incorporating what the student would like to learn to keep it interesting and fun. I start out with basic music theory and fundamentals, moving up to intermediate and some advanced playing techniques/music theory. I have taught from ages 6 to 25 (All Beginners) and enjoy teaching music because I can remember how much practicing music has helped me grow in all aspects of my life and I love sharing the knowledge, experience, and opportunity. It also helps me progress as a musician. I can commute to you, establish a neutral location, or conduct the lessons at my home. Which ever option YOU feel most comfortable with is the option I prefer. My rate is $30 per hour and $15 per half-hour and I do ask that you are equipped with your own guitar.
