This most adorable little man is our Pilot. Pilot was rescued from a local shelter where he was originally found as a stray. When Pilot first came into our system he had a cherry eye, which is a condition with the "third eyelid" and required surgical repair. He had surgery on one eye, but does still have a small cherry eye on the other eyelid. It does not seem to bother him at this point.We have recently learned that Pilot has an enlarged heart which means he will need to be on an inexpensive medication for the rest of his life. Pilot is a small Dachshund mix of 12 pounds and just around a year or two old. Pilot is doing well in his foster home. He gets along well with other dogs, doesn't mind cats and likes to cuddle with his people. Pilot is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.
